Good evening swim families!

A few important pieces of information for you this week:;

1.Our amazing coaches have decided to host a FREE stroke clinic this Friday! If you are interested in your swimmer getting a little extra help on strokes, please make sure you fill out this interest form by clicking HERE! This will give our coaches an idea of who is coming and what specifically they would like help on! The stroke clinic will be held Friday after Fun Friday and will last around 45 minutes. So we should be done by 11:00.

2. Don't forget our coaches also offer private lessons as well. Coaches will be holding these private lessons on Wednesdays to help prepare for meets on Thursday. If you are interested in any private lessons, please talk with the specific coach directly. The cost is $25 for 30 minutes. If Wednesdays do not work out for you, please speak with the coach directly to arrange another time.

3. Congratulations to all our swimmers of the week from last week. If you received a swimmer of the week yard sign, please return those tomorrow at practice. 

4. Our next theme for our Thursday night swim meet is Hawaiian night! Swimmers will be provided some Hawaiian themed leis and tattoos. Families, please support our swimmers by wearing your favorite Hawaiian gear!

5. Parents of older swimmers 11 & up: It has come to our attention that some of our older swimmers are attending practice but not participating in practice. We want to create a mentoring culture where the older swimmers are encouraging younger swimmers and leading by example. So we are asking that the older swimmers participate in practice instead of sitting on the side of the pool on their phone. The younger swimmers look up to and want to emulate the older swimmers so much, so when the younger swimmers see the older ones sitting out on their phones, it makes our younger ones not want to participate either. Our coaches will be talking with these swimmers at practice and even encouraging them to lead and cheer for younger swimmers at meets! Parents - thanks for your help in this!
