Good evening parents!

We have an AWAY swim meet on Thursday at Orange Shoals in Canton. See address below. This meet is going to be a little different than the 2 meets we have had so far, so please read this email in its entirety!

1. Address for Orange Shoals:

1000 Orange Shoals Drive

Canton GA 30115

2. Swim meet officially starts at 6:00 p.m. Warm-ups for our team start at 5:30, so we are asking all swimmers to arrive at 5:00 to give plenty of time for marking arms.

3. Sparks will NOT be swimming at Orange Shoals. Sparks will swim their "mini-meet" Thursday morning during their normal practice time. (Orange Shoals does not have a Sparks team.) At this time, they will get their ribbon for the week and treat!

4. Parking: You cannot park in the street. Orange Shoals will have a grassy area close to the pool for parking that is accessible by Arbor Hill Rd. There will be people directing you into the parking area.

5. Our bullpen area will be inside the pool gates. We will have tents set up to provide our swimmers with shade.

6. Concessions: They sell Chick-fil-a, burgers, hotdogs, popcorn, assorted candy and snacks, soda, sports drinks, and water. We will also have Kona Ice on property. The prices range from $1-$7. THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH!

7. Pool: The pool is only a 5 lane pool, so only lanes 3 & 5 will be scoring lanes for us.

8. Weather: Weather looks okay for Thursday. If any bad weather occurs, parents will need to return to their own cars, as Orange Shoals doesn't have a clubhouse. We will communicate through the REMIND app any weather delays/cancellations.

9. Lastly, if you haven't already, please declare your swimmer ASAP!
