Tomorrows Swim Meet at HOME vs. DeerLake
Good evening swim families,
We have our last home meet of the season tomorrow evening with an official start time of 5:30. It's going to be a hot one. Please make sure you send lots of water to keep your swimmer hydrated.
We are going to be doing a couple of extra things because of the heat tomorrow evening. We will have someone walking around the pool deck with bottled waters. If you are working your volunteer position and need some water, please let the hospitality person know. Parents and spectators, we will also have the lower level of the clubhouse open if you need to come inside and cool off for a few minutes. We are also offering this for the other team as well. Safety is our number one priority, so if you need anything or feel like you're getting overheated, please flag a board member down. If you are on the pool deck working, get the attention of the guy running the computer by the ASA official, and he can notify a board member to get you anything you need.
As for swimmer information:
1. Please have swimmers arrive at 3:45 to begin the arm markup process. If you are a bullpen parent, please arrive at 3:45 as well.
2. Our warmups will start at 4:15 and end at 4:45.
3. Our sparks mini meet will begin promptly at 5:15.
4. PARKING update: We are trying something new for parking this week. Parking is always a challenge. Please follow all parking signs. However, this week we are going to try and have a "Pull through" lane on Cascade Trail and Lake Oak Landing past the pool. We will have a 2 car length section blocked off with cones, in the event that you need to pull in the "pull through" lane to let a car by you in the event you meet another car head on. We realize parking on one side of the street sometimes creates a one lane only road, and we're hoping that our pull through lane will help alleviate this issue and help appease other neighbors. All that to say, please follow the signs in the neighborhood!
5. Lastly, our theme night for this week is Superhero theme! Let's show our team spirit and wear our superhero gear!
GO LIGHTNING!!!
