Happy Friday Lightning families!

We wanted to send out an important coaching update for our 2025 season. Coach Bella (our head coach from last season) let us know recently that she has accepted an internship this summer and will be unable to continue coaching for Lake Forest. We are so sad to see her go, and we are so thankful for her leadership over the past several seasons. We wish her all the best in her new position.

With that being said, our parent board is excited to announce that Coach Tyler Martin from East Forsyth High School has accepted the position and is so excited to lead our team! His picture is attached. See below to learn about Coach Tyler. It's important to note that the rest of our coaching staff remains the same. 

Coach Tyler Bio: Coach Tyler Martin just finished his 4th season as the Head Coach for the East Forsyth Swimming & Diving program and his 8th season overall as a head coach. Previously, he was the Head Coach for 4 years at North Forsyth from 2017-2021. He served as an assistant coach for 3 years at North Forsyth from 2014-2017 before being named the head coach in 2017. He served as an assistant coach at Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club from 2015-2018. Coach Martin is also an ASCA level III certified coach.

1. Our Spirit wear store brought to you by Lanier Goods is open. Click HERE to purchase spirit wear. Remember, a portion of sales comes back to our team as a fundraiser!

2. Our informational parent meeting is Tuesday, May 6 at 7:00 PM in the lower level of the clubhouse. Flyer is attached.

3. A parent reached out to let me know that the swimsuits that we had linked on our site were discontinued. The links are correct now if you would like to order your swimsuit. Click HERE to order!

If you need a swimsuit fitting, we will hold one on Thursday, May 8 from 6-7 pm in the lower level of the clubhouse.
